He was predeceased by : his parents, Karl Beard and Carroll Beard; and his wife Theresa Beard. He is survived by : his significant other Theresa Langley; his children, Connie Sue Calimazzo (Antonio Calimazzo), Carolyn Marie Chandler (Daniel Chandler), Caren Ann Charest and Karl John Beard (Hannah Beard); his grandchildren, Logan Calimazzo (Taylor), Luc Calimazzo, Cain Smith, Collyn Smith, MacKenzie Chandler, Savannah Chandler, Autumn Charest, Hannah Perfect and Nora Beard; his great grandchild Liam Baer; and his sisters, Nancy Barra and Jennifer Beard.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (29850 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
