He is survived by: his friend David; his wife Phyllis; his sons, James Zelek (Katie) and Jeffrey Zelek (Rochelle Palczynski); his grandchildren, Lucas, Tyler (Peighton), Brooklyn and Madelyn; and his sister Linda Przybylo (Randy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
