He was predeceased by: his son Garry David Lewis, Jr.; and his parents, Harry E. Lewis and Frankie S. Ruiz. He is survived by: his children, Georgia, Raychael Lewis (Craig Shire) of Manchester, MI and Michael Lewis of Plymouth, MI.; his grandchildren, Brynna Cotton (Derrick Harris) of South Hill, VA and Ava Lewis of Commerce, MI; his great grandchild Zayden Harris of South Hill, VA.; and his aunt Velma Summey (Aunt Teddy) of Dalton, GA.. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Charles Step Funeral Home and Cremation Services (18425 Beech Daly, Redford Charter Twp, MI 48240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
