It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary J. Samarian (Redford, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Avedis Samarian; her mother Rosalie Harmon; her adoptive father Zeke Harmon; her father Buster Ayers; her brothers, Larry and Mark Harmon; her in-laws, Hatcher and Rose Samarian; and her sister-in-law Joyce Samarian.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Samarian (Lisa) and Jennifer Ritter; her grandchildren, Katie Samarian, Russell Samarian, DJ Samarian, Justin Ritter, Alex Ritter and Angel Ritter; her great grandchild Karter Michael Ritter; and her close friend Alex Wojton.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harry J Will Funeral Homes (25450 Plymouth Rd, Redford Charter Twp, MI 48239). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
