It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ann Nakamura of Redford, Michigan, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Sam Nakamura; her son Daniel Nakamura; her brother Richard Collins; and her great grandchild Cameron Holcomb. She is survived by : her children, Dawn Nakamura, Lorrie Jackson (late Greg) and Heather Takac (Frank); her grandchildren, Christopher Holcomb, Amanda Jackson, Teri Jackson (Ryan Matatall), Brenden Takac and Joseph Takac; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Holcomb, Donavan Holcomb, Oliver Matatall and Dalton Kowalski.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Charles R. Step Funeral Home (18425 Beech Daly, Redford Charter Twp, MI 48240). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Priscilla Catholic Church (19120 Purlingbrook St, Livonia, MI 48152).
