He is survived by: his mother Shirley Carruth; his siblings, Linda Yax (Errol), Verna Williams, Ken, Rob, Glen (Sharon) and Kevin Carruth (Cherry); and his nieces and nephews, Scott Carruth (Christine), Corey Carruth, Amanda Mathews (Tristan), Jason Yax (Nichole), Kristal Chughtai (Aizaz), Sarah Sturgill (John), Ryan Carruth (Korine), Austin Watson (Mark Chris) and Zachary Carruth.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Uht Funeral Home (35400 Glenwood Rd, Westland, MI 48186). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035).
