He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kenneth and Golda Edith McInnis (Morris); and his sisters, Shirley, Roma and Nancy.

He is survived by: his wife Alberta Kay McInnis (Rolston); his children, Mary Knuth (Mike) of Paris, Robert McInnis (Rose) of Reed City, Jeff McInnis (Doug) of Belding and Beth Stoner (Bill) of Kent City, Michigan; his grandchildren, Amber (Jason), Jeremy (Kyleen), Jayson (Ruby), Jackie (Sal), Brandon (Becca) and Megan (Scott); his great grandchildren, Alyson, Emily, Evan, Brooklyn, Owen, Evelyn and Isla; and his brother Jerry McInnis (Mary).
