Linda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Linda will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Shaffer and Gertrude Shaffer (Dykehouse); her stepfather Rhinehold Gadel; and her sister Sally Bierlein. She is survived by: her sons, Matt Dembowske (Lindsey) and Adam Vanderpool; her grandchildren, Emilee Dembowske and Ronin Dembowske; and her close friend Linda Altizer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
