He was predeceased by: his father Edward Joseph McDonald; and his godmother Marguerite Rice. He is survived by: his wife Peggy McDonald; his children, Kay Ley (Nick) of Midland and Brian McDonald of Remus; his grandchildren, Raygan, Corbin, Dawson Ley, Oliver, Waylon, Paisley and Briggs McDonald; his mother Kay McDonald of Mt. Pleasant; his siblings, Joe McDonald (Jenny) of Mt. Pleasant, Scott McDonald (Deb) of Beal City, Doug McDonald (Sherry) of Holly, Matt McDonald (Nicole) of White Lake, Fred McDonald (Lisa) of Shepherd, Greg McDonald (Linda) of Beal City, Jenny Reid (Duane) of Mt. Pleasant and Shelly Spayd (Darin) of Farwell; and his sisters-in-law, April Boughner of Edmore, Penny Boulis of Barryton and Patty Pitts of Remus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clark Family Funeral Chapel Reflections Reception Center (114 S Bradley St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
