He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Donald Lough and Lucinda Elizabeth Strait; and his siblings, Richard, Robert, Jim Lough and Donna Schwartz.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Oosterhouse; his daughters, Samantha Young (Vern) and Stacey Thompson (Jim); his grandchildren, Jordan Young (Kayla) and Gizell Maloney (Jake); his stepgrandchildren, Kayla Thompson (Cortney), Paige Thompson and Elijah Cour; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Wrenley, Collin, Marshall, Ruthie and Landon; his stepgreat-grandchild Lilith; his pet Gunner; and also Carol Tatara. He is also survived by the youngest of eight siblings.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Michael Church (8929 50th Ave, Remus, MI 49340).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in memory of Gary Lough to assist needs for the Mecosta County Sheriff's office, a service that was close to Gary's heart.
