She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Sanders and Edna Sanders; and her husband Robert Carter. She is survived by: her sisters, Evelyn, Donella and Margaret; and her children, Leon Underhill, Juanita McNamara (Pete), Lawrence Underhill (Penny), Allen Underhill (Mindy), Debbie Carter, Vicki Knapp (Kurt), Terry Carter (Brenda), Connie Stowe (Larry), Jenny Carter (Scott), Lorraine Averill (Roger) and Carol Underhill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Et Janowicz Family Funeral Home (469 W Wheatland Ave, Remus, MI 49340). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
