She was predeceased by: her parents, L. E. Carpenter and Lulabelle Carpenter; her former husband Charlie Jay Brown; her son Jeffrey Jay Brown; and her siblings, Rose, Aleen, Lulabelle and David.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her son Dennis; her friends, Holly Miller and Stacey Wesley; and her daughter Charla Gae. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
