With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vernon Clark May of Remus, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Vernon left this world on September 12, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen May and Esther May (Blakeslee); his wife Ada Stickler; and his daughter Susan. He is survived by: his children, Janet Siegler (Philip), Allen May and Joyce Porter (David); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Campbell, Joshua Randall (Mary), Andrew Siegler (Stephanie), Angela Montgomery (Alan), Aaron Siegler (Jamie) and Allie Bierling (Joseph). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Et Janowicz Family Funeral Home (469 W Wheatland Ave, Remus, MI 49340).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Mecosta County VFW in Vernon's honor.
