She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Stine and Ethel Stine; her husband Justin Wernette; her daughter Janet McCall; her grandson Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Riese and Lincoln.
She is survived by: her friend Dolores; her sons, Roger Wernette (Micky), Randy Wernette (Julie), Dennis Wernette (Kris) and Darwin Wernette (Linda); and her son-in-law Bob McCall. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, along with many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Janowicz Family Funeral Home (469 W Wheatland Ave, Remus, MI 49340). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (8929 50th Ave, Remus, MI 49340).
