In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Wilda's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She is survived by: her children, Zelma Lee Tenhoopen and Brian Tenhoopen; her husband Charles W. Carrico; her daughter Tillie Sears; and her grandson David.
She and Charles moved from Forest Hill, California in 2019 right before Covid to live with her daughter Zelma and her son-in-law Brian Tenhoopen, she also absolutely adored her nephew Benjamin Dean, who always came to visit her and had just visited her the month before.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to Corewell Health Hospice.
