She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Oien and Isabelle Oien (Pepin); her husband Robert Lahtela; and her son Kent. She is survived by: her children, Beth Lahtela and Brian Lahtela (Grace); her sister Virgina "Ginny" Neuman (David); and her grandchildren, Dylan, Paige and Taylor Lahtela. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
