She was predeceased by: her parents, John Augustson and Ellen Augustson (Hendrickson). She is survived by: her husband Fred Alatalo (Pete); her children, Brenda Crawford (Lige) and Brent Alatalo (Jo); her grandson Brandon Crawford; her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Helmila and Barbara Augustson; her siblings, John Augustson (Larry) and Kathryn (Kay); her brother-in-law David Hamel; her parents-in-law, Fred and Sylvia Alatalo; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Vadnais and Wally Helmila. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
