He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Brian Vadnais (Jackie) and Sarah Starkey (Travis); his granddaughter Elsie Starkey; his sister Nancy Kerkela (Robert); his brothers-in-law, Ross Kaleva (Dorie) and Douglas Kaleva (Sandra); and his pet Sootie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church - Republic (110 Poplar St, Republic, MI 49879). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
