She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyal B. Wilson and Violet Wilson (Iddings); her husband William Burton Van Valkenburgh (Van); her son Chad Ross Van Valkenburgh; and her siblings, Loyal I. Wilson and Dona Lou Imler.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Carol Van Valkenburgh (Stephanie Heard) of Richland, Michigan, Katrina Sue Van Valkenburgh (Michael Newman) of Chicago, Illinois and William Burton Van Valkenburgh (Ilva Shne) of Mequon; and her grandchildren, Sigmund "Siggy" Van Valkenburgh of Mequon and Aksel "Aksey" Van Valkenburgh of Mequon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
