He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Allen and Billie Allen (Martin); his wife Diana Allen; his daughters, Kristan Skalski (Steve) and Alicia Brownell; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Xander, Lucas and Joelle; and his sisters, Cheryl Nyberg (Kevin) and Cindy Meyers. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services - Memorial/Burdick Street (622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007).
