He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Oksentowicz and Diana Oksentowicz (Brenckle); and his brother Michael Oksentowicz. He is survived by: his children, Justin Hughes (Elizabeth Staley), Jeremy Oksentowicz (Kaitlyn) and Anjolie Hughes; his granddaughter Adeline Hughes; and his sister Nadine Oksentowicz.
