David Warren Foster Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Warren Foster of Richmond, Michigan, born in Saint Clair, Michigan, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Weeks Foster and Helen Foster (Crampton); his brother Dick Foster; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Foster and Judy Foster.

He is survived by : his wife Susan; his children, Sarah Foster of Richmond, Donald Foster of St. Clair, Andrew Foster (Jeffrey Williams) of Chicago and Amy Foster (Derek Habel) of Richmond; his brother Daniel Foster; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Foster and James Keech (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to: Richmond First United Methodist Church, Lois Wagner Memorial Library, Richmond Area Historical & Genealogical Society or McLaren Hospice Port Huron.

Phil Macumber wrote a sympathy message

“My name is Phil Macumber and I am the Culligan Man from Marlette MI. I have known Dave (Uncle Dave as we affectionately called him) for about 25 years. We did the water treatment for him on his many building and remodeling projects. I want his family to know that he was one on the nicest people I have ever met. I don't think I ever heard a mean or nasty word come out of him. He would let you know when he thought you could do better, but always in a kind way. I will miss him a lot.”
