It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Louise Basel of Richmond, Michigan, born in Bridgman, Michigan, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Stelter and Hulda Stelter (Kreiger); and her siblings, Richard, David, Elsie, Paulette, Esther and Timothy.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Weiler (Kenneth) of Chesterfield, Marilyn Basel of Lansing and Michael Basel (Michelle) of Colorado; her grandsons, Scott Weiler (Stacy), Matthew Weiler (Jessica) and Chad Weiler (Candace); her great grandchildren, Josselyn, Zachary, Makayla, Benjamin and Jaxon; and her siblings, Mary Svorec of Florida, Emily Kast (Ed) of Saginaw and Leslie Stelter of Bridgman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
