He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Brown and Delores Brown; his former wife Diane Brown; his grandmother Mae Ottenbacher; his close friend Lee Griffin; and his siblings, Virgil, Eugene Brown, Delores Fallena and Fern Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Brown; his children, Scott Brown (Tammy), Reneé Brown (Whitney) and Andrew Brown (Susan); his stepchildren, Edward Maedel (Colleen) and Jan Long (John); his sisters, Margaret Kelch, Helen Brown and Georgina Daggett (Roger); his aunt Rose Chartland; his grandchildren, John Long, Blake Brown, Brendan Maedel, Garrison Brown, Harvey Brown and Jackson Brown; and his caregivers, Stephanie, Kristen, Nicki, Alicia, Tamika and Marlene.

Donations can be made out to the family and will be given to local charities in the area.
