He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Lucy McKiernan (Burns); his children, Daniel, Margaret and Francis; his siblings, James McKiernan (Patricia), Marie Gonczar and Eileen Foley (Ray); his brothers-in-law, Leonard Doane and Bob Foley; and his daughter-in-law Maria McKiernan.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ottenbacher; his children, Ronald (Joan), Judy Farmer (Rob Berry), James, Mary Recznik (John), Kelly Herrmann (John), Kevin (Jodi), Nancy Gerstall, Michelle Costakes (Steve) and Peter (Patricia); his siblings, John (Barbara), Don Patrick (Patricia), Winifred Doane and Virginia Foley; and his brother-in-law George Gonczar. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
