She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Valdemar Escamilla (Yolanda), Consuelo Escamilla, Avel Escamilla and Juan Carlos Escamilla (Ranjeet); her grandchildren, Sonya Barnes, Rebecca Johnston (Aaron), Valdemar Escamilla Jr., Cristina Escamilla and Raquel Escamilla; her great grandchildren, Chance Barnes, Rayne Barnes, Cruz Barnes and Santino Barnes; and her parents, Eligio Padilla Ruiz and Josefina Vilchis.
