He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Daniel and Leona Daniel (Wagner); his wife Betty; his son Timothy Daniel; his granddaughters, Kimberly Marie Daniel and Rebecca Mae Daniel; his brothers, Joseph, Walter, Raymond, Casper, Albert, Richard and Bernard; Diane Marie Hamilton (Slater), Mary Daniel and LaDonna Garrett.
He is survived by: his close friend Pauline Daniel; his children, Birdena Leona Gage (Al) of Fuquay Varina, NC and Mark Edward Daniel of Alma; and his siblings, James Daniel (Sara), Dennis Daniel, Dorothy Cowdrey, Rita Oswald (Gene) and Bernadette Howell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
