She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Bigelow (Gurski) and Eston Bigelow; and her brother-in-law Neil Allen. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Harger of Riverdale, MI; her daughter Cindy (Tom Dean); her grandchildren, Brett, Erica Schiavo of Riverdale, MI, Glenn Schiavo of Shepherd, MI, Joshua, Caleb Dean of Traverse City, MI and Logan Dean of Alma, MI; her great grandchildren, Emilie and Bexley; her siblings, Ellen, Merlin Wertz, Linda Allen, Roger, Bev Bigelow and Stan; and her sister-in-law Patricia Harger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (1317 Pine Ave, Alma, MI 48801).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Tunnels to Towers.
