He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruehl Kruse and Helen Kruse (Rugg); his wife Verna Kruse; his daughters, Pam Malinoski (Brian Davies), Lynn Page (Randy) and Julie Kruse; his grandchildren, Alison Smeltzer (Chad), Ryan Malinoski (Lisa), Holly Trapp (Travis), Sara Miller (Anthony), Rebecca Lorenz (Matt Pudlo), Declan Hayes, Rachel Adams (Terry), Jason Page and Matt Page (Brittani); his son Stephen John Kruse; and his sisters, Jennie Clark and Jean Jones. He was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Three Rivers (320 N Main St, Three Rivers, MI 49093).
