She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pink Barker and Malissia Catherine Barker (White); her husband Frederick Strickrodt (Jack); her son Richard Michael Townsend; her stepson Scott Jackson Strickrodt; and her sisters, Mary Lewis, Barbara Owens (Andy), Alma Westerfield (Glen) and Katie Gardner.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly VanOrder (Roger) of Jackson, MI; and her sisters, Vivian Pace of Crystal Springs, MS and Georgia Cruz (Tito) of San Diego, CA.. She is also survived by her family and loved her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Homes - Jackson (4204 Ann Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49202). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
