In loving memory of Thomas Gene Mietelka of Rives Junction, Michigan, who departed this world on February 21, 2026 at the age of 75. Thomas leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mietelka and Isabelle Mietelka; his brother Joseph Mietelka Jr.; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Mietelka. He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Mietelka; and his grandchildren, Torian Mietelka, Nathan Palmer Jr. and Wade Palmer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their children.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home would be appreciated.
