He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Brandreth and Emma Brandreth; and his siblings, Kenneth Brandreth (Bertha), Doris Irving (John) and Harry Brandreth (Betty).

He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Sexton; his sons, David (Karen) and Gary (Zsuzsanna); his grandchildren, Garret Peter and Aedan David; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Enlow (Ryan), Angela Goff (Andrew) and Jason Linn (Rachel); and his brother Robert Brandreth (Betty) of Crossville, TN. He is also survived by his 7 step-great-grandchildren.
