He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph McCain and Anna McCain; his wife Stephanie; his children, Patty McCain (Jon Sajewski), Kathi Strickland (Tom), David McCain (Brenda) and Stephen McCain (Linda); his grandchildren, Staci, Max, Olivia (Brett), Heather (Garrett), Molly, Abbie, Dylan, Emma, Maggie, Jon (Amber) and Nicole (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Paisley, Lenley, Kaylee and Jonny; and his sister Joan Kistler.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
