She is survived by : her husband Joe Hamada; her children, David Hamada (Beth) and Suzanne Matsuura (Joe); her grandchildren, Joanne Benko (Balint) and Donald Matsuura; her great grandchild Blake Benko; and her siblings, Alice Chapman, Rose Kitagawa and Frank Kajiya (Alice).
