He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane Whinham (Miner); his children, Elizabeth Whinham (Raye McGee) and Jack Whinham; his parents, John W. Whinham and Marie Whinham (Blount); his sisters, Carol Robinson (Mike) and Joy Whinham Tavernier (Kenroy Tavernier); his siblings-in-law, Cathy Miner, Laura Miner Kowalski (Dave) and Don Miner (Laura); and his nieces and nephews, Michal Ann Robinson, Jill Robinson, Rachel Darany (Adam), Chris Kowalski, Andrew Kowalski, Caitlin Lehr and Daniel Lehr.
