He is survived by: his wife Joyce Schmidt; and his children, Timothy Schmidt (Ladeana), Stephen Schmidt (Robin), Mark Schmidt, Lori Knapp and Michael Schmidt (Cyndi). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren; and his 12 great grandchildren.
