With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patrick Joseph Kopytek of Rochester Hills, Michigan, who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter John and Bernadine Hedwig Kopytek; his siblings, Mary Klamo (Tom) and Bruce Kopytek (Carole); his daughters, Colleen Green of Tuscon, AZ. and Laura Beth Kopytek (Jeremiah Lemish) of Fort Wayne, IN.; his grandchildren, Dalton Green, Casimir J. Green, Jude Green and Brennan Green; his godchildren, Sara Klamo (Chris Kapsalis) and Benjamin Klamo (Melissa); his niece Rachel Klamo; his nephew Joseph Klamo (Jennifer); his stepsibling's children, Jennifer Goodman and Jesse Goodman; Rev. John Blaska.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Americans for Battlefield Preservation (http://www.savebattlefields.org.) or to the family to be used for settlement of Patrick's final expenses.
