She was predeceased by : her husband Samuel B. Sottile, Sr.; her mother Eleanor Sierchio; her stepfather Lawrence Sierchio; her father Dr. Alphonse Cantelmo; her parents-in-law, Francesco and Grazia Sottile; and her brother-in-law David Reppuhn.

She is survived by : her children, Sam Sottile, Jr. of Oxford and Prof; her grandchildren, Anthony, Daniel, Leah, Maria and Samuel; her sister Constance Reppuhn (Richard Spitzer) of Saginaw, Michigan.; and also, Belle, Pepper, Sparky, Tiny, Minnie, Ginger, Candy, Shadow, Tinker, Bella, Zara, Bosko and Calvin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind, Covenant House of Michigan and St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
