He is survived by: his wife Shirley; and his children, David (Carole), Daryl (Lorrie), Mike, Kevin (Mary) and Christy (Andy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, 12 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home (339 Walnut Blvd, Rochester, MI 48307). A committal service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
