He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon McDonald and Muriel McDonald; his stepmother Reta McDonald; and his brothers, Jack McDonald and Gordon McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Panian; his children, Shelly Carrier (Xavier) of Bergerac, France, Tammy Bell (David) of Sault Ste, Marie, Laurie Meoak (Scott) of Lake Orion, Tracy McDonald of Rochester, Tim McDonald of Tulsa and Amy Barry (Joe) of Auburn; his sister Janice O'Connell of California; his grandchildren, Abby Moran (Jeff), Emma Steikar (Brendan), Isaac Bell, Elizabeth Joles (Spencer), Lilah, Marlowe Mocquet-McDonald, Payten, Noah Meoak, Ella and Alexandra Barry; and his great grandchildren, William, Theodore and Steikar.
David M. McDonald, 76, of Rochester, Michigan, entered the gates of Heaven with thanksgiving in his heart and entered God's courts with praise on March 28, 2024, following a hard-fought battle against Alzheimer's Disease.
