He was predeceased by: his parents, Chariclea (Georgiou) and Chrysostomos Mortis. He is survived by: his wife Hionia; his children, Carol Gaggos (Bill), Chris Mortis (Maria) and Lena Gionnette (Mike); and his grandchildren, Kalliope, Anthony, Anastasia, Sophia, Theo, George and Niko.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church or the AHEPA Educational Foundation.
