He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Sayers and Veronica Sayers; his stepmother Anna Sayers; his parents-in-law, John Anderson and Helena Anderson; his sister Connie Bailey; his nephew Chuck Bailey; and his siblings-in-law, Nan Anderson, Jeff Anderson and Bruce Ryan.

He is survived by : his wife Julie; his daughter Jennifer Bloomquist; his son-in-law Jeff; his grandchildren, Logan and Layne; his brother Father Ray Sayers; his brother-in-law Charles Bailey; his nephew Chris Bailey; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Ryan and Cherrine Anderson.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Assistance League of Southeast Michigan or to the OPC Senior Center in Rochester would be appreciated.
