He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bemis and Frances Bemis (Baylis); his former wife Sheryl Bemis; and his grandson Chad Everett. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Bemis; his children, Michael Bemis (Michele), Michelle Grabowski (Joseph), Melissa Bemis, James Bayliss (Virginia), Joseph Bayliss, Lacie Swenson, Justine Speck (John) and Cheri Bummarito (Pete); and his aunt Barbara Harris (Rodney "Uncle Duddley").
Memorial contributions may be made to the LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care or to Ashley Butterfield in memory of Matt Butterfield.
