He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Jerry Dines (Jenna Reister) and Julie Hayman; his grandchildren, Tyler, Levi (Bree), Megan (Matt), Cody (Cailynne), Courtney (Mckinzie), Coy, Chase, Michael and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Natalie, Jaxson, Payton, Vincent, Brycenn, Lane, Bentley, Keeley, Chloe, Blayne, Caden, Denver and Memphis; his siblings, Robert Burnett (Shirley) and Sally Hubbard; his siblings-in-law, James Tompkins (Patti), Ray Tompkins (Youkio), Nancy Pennington, Shirley Tompkins, John Tompkins (Denise) and Sue Price (Tim); and his pets, Lady and Tiger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Pierson Township Cemetery (20899 W Cannonsville Rd, Pierson, MI 49339). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Pierson Community Building.
