She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Leistner; and her parents, Russell Chamberlin and Lucille Chamberlin. She is survived by: her children, Scott Leistner (Anita), Linda DeWitt (Mark) and Thomas Leistner (Sebastian Koo); her grandchildren, Dillon Leistner, Erika Sikkema (Adam), Tennyson Mackey (Jon), Michael DeWitt (Mary) and Alec DeWitt (Samantha); and her great grandchildren, William, Miles DeWitt, Eleanora, Ephraim Mackey and Viviana DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betsy's honor to St. Peter's Lutheran Church (www.stpetersrockford.org), 310 E. Division St. NE, Rockford, MI 49341. The family kindly requests that donations be made directly to the church and not through third-party memorial sites offering symbolic gestures such as tree planting.
