He is survived by: his parents, Gary Ackerman and Nancy Ackerman (Larson); his son Tyler Scott Ackerman (Carleigh); his granddaughter Makelti Ackerman; and his brothers, Andrew Ackerman and Derek Ackerman (Brandi). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
