He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Sweeney (Teri) of Rockford and Thomas Sweeney (Kendra Bixby) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Avery Sweeney, Mara Sweeney, Emma Sweeney and Kyle Sweeney; and his sisters, Maureen Hudak (Steve), Kay Kellogg and Patricia Thomas.
