She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Allocco and Carol Schuyten; and her grandchildren, Johanna Zwyghuizen, Sarah Schneider, Caleb Schuyten, Jedidiah Schuyten, Hilary Cook, Israel Schuyten, Abigail Schuyten and Nathan Schuyten. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Plainfield Baptist Church (1750 Woodworth St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Blythefield Memory Gardens (6200 Brewer Ave NE, Belmont, MI 49306).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Plainfield Baptist Church or that you sing a hymn in Dorothy's honor.
