Janusz Leja Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 22, 2025, at the age of 81, Janusz Leja of Rockford, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanislaw Leja and Barbara Leja (Smialek); his brother-in-law Ron Nienhuis; his siblings, Jerzy Leja and Renee Leja; and his stepmother Hania Leja.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey Leja; his sons, Dan Leja (Jodi), Chris Leja (Carolyn) and Brian Leja (Jessica); his grandchildren, Chris, Coleen, Danny, Ainsley, Kate, Evie, Alex, Max, Miles and Charlotte Leja; his brother Stan Leja (Kati); and his siblings-in-law, Dale Nienhuis (Marla), Dwayne Nienhuis (Darlene), Arloa Nienhuis, Mike Nienhuis, Steve Nienhuis (Mary), Gary Nienhuis (Carol) and Al Nienhuis (Lu Anne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
