It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jason Howard Witte of Rockford, Michigan, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Howard Witte and John T. Shelton; and his great-grandparents, Jean Sheldon and Dorothy Hanks. He is survived by: his parents, Craig Steven Witte and Susan Elizabeth Witte (Shelton); his sisters, Laura Mills (Jackson), Catherine Campbell (P. J.) and Megan Lebbie (Ansumana); his siblings' children, James Campbell, Clara Lebbie and Michael Mills; and his grandmothers, Eleanor Witte and Suzanne Shelton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Rockford United Methodist Church (159 Maple St NE, Rockford, MI 49341). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cannonsburg Cemetery (5600 Sunfish Lake Ave NE, Rockford, MI 49341).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Rockford United Methodist Church.
